Natalie Haziza immigrated to Israel from Johannesburg, South Africa at age 14 and today lives in Hadera. She has a BFA in Film and Arts from Sapir Academic College, Sderot and is studying for an MA in Communication and Culture Studies at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
Natalie has taught film-making to different community groups in Southern Israel from Sderot high school students to prisoners in the Beer Sheva Prison. She has represented Israel at the Clermont-Ferrand short film festival in France, and has participated in numerous film workshops in Russia and South Africa organized by the Goethe Institut. Her films have been screened in the US and Israel.
